Walk and Wheel Week Prizes

As part of Walk and Wheel week Macandrew bay School won two prizes. Our school received $300 for sports equipment and Jasmine won a $50 voucher to spend at Stirling sports. We were really p[leased that most children in our class walked to school.

Black Hole

Black holes are made when an old star dies because of a big explosion inside the star called a super nova. When you fall into a black hole you get spaghettified that means you get pulled until you snap. At the centre of our galaxy the milky way there is a massive black hole several million times the mass of our sun. A black hole is an area with gravity so strong that not even light can escape from it. For a black to happen a star has to be 10 to 15 x bigger than our sun. By Hamish ,Leroy ,Zacka ,Cioran and Owain.
