Year 6 Visiti to Tahuna Intermediate

On Tuesday 9th August the Year 6 children went to Tahuna Intermediate. We really enjoyed taking part in the technology, music making and computing activities

Black Hole

Black holes are made when an old star dies because of a big explosion inside the star called a super nova. When you fall into a black hole you get spaghettified that means you get pulled until you snap. At the centre of our galaxy the milky way there is a massive black hole several million times the mass of our sun. A black hole is an area with gravity so strong that not even light can escape from it. For a black to happen a star has to be 10 to 15 x bigger than our sun. By Hamish ,Leroy ,Zacka ,Cioran and Owain.
